Is it the wedding of the year?
Jenna Bush tying the knot with Henry Hager. The wedding is private and only 200 friends and family have been invited. She'll have 14 bridesmaid's and wear an Oscar de la Renta wedding gown.
We spent the day in Crawford yesterday where the whole town is getting ready. A gift shop there has everything from buttons to coffee mugs with the couple's picture on it. They'll also be serving cake and punch in their honor.
Jenna wanted a low-key wedding and has said if she had it at the White House it wouldn't be her style.

We met an American Idol hopeful today Bruce Dickson from Bastrop. He was on Idol last week and no he didn't make it to Hollywood.
He does have an interesting story. The 19-year-old told Idol judges he is saving himself for love and won't even kiss a girl until he's married. It's a tradition in his family. He's got 4 sisters and another brother and they all feel very passionate about keeping this promise.

Sorry I'm just getting this blog up. I didn't have wireless service at Texas Stadium.
So this was my first time covering American Idol! It was pretty exciting seeing thousands of hopefuls giving their dreams a shot. If I learned anything from being there, it's you've got to stand out not just with your voice but how you carry yourself and really how you entertain. We talked to a guy nicknamed "Danjaya." He's the next Sanjaya... watch out.
We also met some amazing singers. But get this some of them didn't even make it to the next round. It was sad seeing them wait in line since 2 a.m. and walk out crying and disappointed.
Of course we followed and profiled some of the people from Austin. The ones who I found weren't so lucky at auditions. Some of them say they're going to try to go to some of the other auditions around the country. There are five cities left. Next week Idol will be in Omaha.
This year producers told us they'll be doing something a little different. They'll actually allow instruments at a certain point. That should be interesting. What do you think?
