With hurricane Gustav taking dead aim on New Orleans President Bush has ordered FEMA to immediately send ten truckloads of ice and ten truckloads of bottled water to Billings, Montana.
Makes as much sense as some of the things they did after Katrina. I think all the temporary housing is still bogged down in Arkansas.

I have been asked to chair the organization and first fund raiser for the new Poor People and Homeless Shelter that will be built soon near downtown.
The purpose of PP&HS is to get the poor and homeless off the streets off the streets and out of sight.
The way it will work is: Authorities will have a roaming PP&H patrol that will capture and take PP&H to the shelter. At the shelter the PP&H will be given baths, checked for parasites and given shots to prevent any disease outbreaks.
The PP&H will then go into a holding facility where advantaged persons can come and select one or more to adopt.
Once the PP&H has been cleared to go to a new home he/she will be spayed or neutered to prevent reproduction of the species.
A representative of the SPCPP&H ( Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Poor People and Homeless ) will check the new residences once a year to make sure the PP&H are being treated in a humane manner.
Those PP&H that are not adopted within six weeks will be euthanized.
The Limbaugh Foundation, sponsor of the effort, says that if everything works according to plan, by 2010 there will be no more Poor People or Homeless left and life will be so much nicer.

Do we have any Smackdown fans here? A couple of weeks ago it was the most watched Friday night program on TV.
I'm not too crazy about the Smackdown lineup since the "draft". I never did care for Triple H. To me he looks like he thinks if he smiled his balls would drop off.
Mr Kennedy has really come around. The crowd is eating him up. He's gonna make some money.
The Edge - Gurrero thing has drug out too long. They need to put it to sleep and start something else.
They need to find an angle for MVP. He's way too talented to just let him do the same thing week after week..
Jesse and Festus could be at the top if they knew how to work their angle. Jesse is a fine little wrestler and Festus is a load but the angle will kill them..
now a word from our sponsors..

According to AOL news, a P.Selvakumar of India on the 11th of November wed Selri a stray dog.
Selvakumar said he was feeling bad about stoning two dogs to death so he wed Selri in an effort to make up for the deed. He added Selri has beautiful eyes..
It is not clear if Selri is male or female. Either way I expect very soon weddings like this will be common in Austin.

Don't know it is rude to shout at people? Using all upper case letters is considered shouting on the Internet.
Also if you put in a space or blank line to sort of sort out the verbage it helps with the reader's comprehension of what you are trying to say.
Then you ask for input and there is no place to leave a comment.

Anyone who displays a TV program or movie that has Peter Boyle or Jerry Stiller playing someone's goofy father SHOULD BE SHOT.
Whoever wrote the Jack in the Box commercial showing Jack being hit in the face with darts, beaten with a telephone and being hanged SHOULD BE SHOT. This is not "cute" it is merely sick.
Anyone writing or producing a "Romantic Comedy" SHOULD BE SHOT.
Anyone who watches "TMZ" SHOULD BE SHOT.
I could go on but I need to go feed one of my kitties. I feed them to the pit bull next door...
Have a nice day.

The spitting last night was fantastic. During the pregame introductions all but two of the BoSox cut loose world class lugies.
The Rockies seem to be somewhat saliva impared as their spitting was not quite up to snuff.
America should be proud that the participants in the greatest sporting event that utilizes stick and ball have all the good taste and manners of drunken sailors on leave in some Algerian seaport.

Another evening of entertainment from WWE. Last night was not all that entertaining but it beat "Plumbing with the stars".
Pitiful part was Jamie Noble's squash match with Batista. Noble has been type cast as a tackling dummy. I think he could put on a decent match with someone like Rey Mysterio.
I did not miss the appearance of the Great Khali..He has as much charisma as a turd. And that is on his good nights.
The new "monster" they have brought in, Big Daddy V or whatever looks like Abdullah the Butcher's illigitimate son.
JBL's interview segments were way too predictable. He is about as subtle as a fart in a diver's helmet.
The MVP-Matt Hardy story continues to play out. I have no clue as to where it's going. Matt did get busted bad in last night's match.
Cyber Sunday should be interesting. If I had cable out here in the boondocks I'd PFV it.
I think the Undertaker is setting up for retirement. He's been around a long time. I don't know, he is so popular they may not be able to let him go..Right now he is my favorite. His ring entrances are pure drama. They spend more on one of his entrances than Pflugerville spends on it's Fourth of July Parade.
I missed a lot of the action in the 90's due to no fault of my own. I'm reviewing it on DVD now. In my opinion Stone Cold Steve Austin is the best showman ever been in the business. He was not a bad mechanic either.
Gotta go, Mick Foley is on the line wanting some advice..

There is a new retail business that will soon appear on the scene in the U.S. and Europe. This company called Bulk will be in direct competition with such U.S. businesses as Wal-Mart.
Charles Eaton Olander the CEO of Bulk says his company will outsource work to countries such as Malawi, Somalia and the Solomon Islands. Olander says as the average wage for a Chinese worker is $1.46 per hour, the prevailing wages in the prospective outsource countries is 17 cents per hour which would result in a considerable savings for Bulk.
Bulk is scheduled to open it’s first store in Pflugerville, Texas in January of 2008. The slogan of the stores will be, “Everyone knows you can save more if you buy in Bulk”.

The climax of America's game is starting this week. I can hardly wait. Having watched parts of several of the play-off games I am really impressed with the spitting this year.
The close up and personal shots of the burly, unkempt guys spitting really turns me on..I don't know how the human body can produce so much saliva. Maybe it's a by product of steriods.. I know the players have to hydrate at every opportunity..
I have an eight year old grandson who wants to become a baseball player. Does anyone know of a Spitting camp I can get him into next spring? He needs work as mostly the spit just dribbles down his chin...

Does anyone watch the IFL program on the TV? I've been trying to make some sense out of it but so far it's escaped me.
First of all the program is chopped into many small bites none of which seem to connect. /The interviewed fighters have no personality.
I'm not sure it is really fighting. The "fighters" spend too much time in the missionary position to suit me...
WWE rules.

The media has already started trying to point fingers and place blame for the shootings and reactions afterward.
Why don't we first find out what happened before we start trying to say what should have been done differently?
