I'm back. I went outside to do a live stream update. It's way cold out there, which was why my report was so quick.

So Hillary brought up the plagiarism issue that has been plaguing Obama recently.  He is accused of lifting words from the speech of Deval Patrick.  Obama said in the debate tonight that Patrick gave him permission to use those words. BUT Hillary came back with a zinger...  She suggested that we elect a president for change that you can believe in, not change you can Xerox. Ouch. Now we're getting somewhere people! These are the things I like to hear at a debate.

Hillary indirectly brought up oral sex during the debate! Way to keep the viewers interested Hill! Here's how it happened:
Obama was talking about how rough he had it growing up with a single mom because his father left him as a child.  Hillary then came back with, well I've seen some tough times too, and everyone here knows about that. She was smiling as she said this as the nation remembered a white stain on a blue dress. It was a little sad. But then she went on to talk about the wounded soldiers she visited in San Antonio and declared they had it the roughest. Okay Hillary, you won that one.

The debate just finished. Time to get back to the station. Thanks for checking out the blogs here.

Did you watch the debate? What did you think? Who won? Was there enough oral sex talk? Was there too much Spanish being spoken? Come on bloggers, don't hold back.

I didn't watch. Pointless. The only debatable question is who's fingers are going to dip deeper into my pocket, Hillary or Barack? Or will there even be a difference? Panderfest Austin 2008 is over now. All that's left is to pay for it...and pay for it...and pay for it...and...oh well.

Obama also brought up about all children going to schools - well that sounds like an Oprah idea - not an Obama idea. The problem is we are not talking Africa - we are talking the United States and some of the schools have had money and more money provided to them and the children still are failing due to the staff at the schools. They are not being taught the way children was taught in the 40's and it is now showing when kids can not read that have graduated from high school. So if he would have said he was going to reform the schools - he might have had some meaning - but with his Oprah gram - it means nothing.

I guess it does mean something - it does mean HIGHER TAXES - kinda like pouring sand down a rat hole.

Maybe if teachers were payed more they might teach more. Pro football players get payed millions to run up and down a field while teachers are payed near nothing to teach those same players how to read the plays. Kind of backwards if you ask me.

rdjvz.....They chose to be teachers, no one is being forced!
Besides, the teachers are fine...I don't care if Einstein was teaching a class, if they don't WANT to learn they wont!
The school problem lies in ignorant parents who don't want to be bothered and think schools are only babysitters. When I was a kid we knew that to be sucessful, you needed an education....There are still many kids that feel that way, but many who don't and are satisfied to rob, steal, sell drugs, and scam for na living!

Lay off the teachers.
