UT AT CROSSROADS

After thier first 0-2 start in confernce play since 1966,the UT football team is at a crosssroads. With key road games the next two weeks at Iowa State(coached by former UT def. coord.Gene Chizik) and at Baylor(likewise 0-2) Texas can right the ship though it appears Oklahoma and the Aggies will have a better chance of winning the Big 12 South. Sooners host the Aggies November 2nd in Norman!

Texas left the Cotton Bowl a better team Saturday,certainly tougher than the team that gave up 41 points to K-State, but it's time to use Jamaal Charles as a third down receiver out of the backfield and let Chris Ogbonnaya and Vondrell McGee carry the rock. Without a running game the Horns defense is on the field longer and wares down as it did in the loss to OU. Crazy year in college football with a top ten that includes,Cal,Boston College,South Florida ,South Carolina and Oregon, that's what scares me about this weeks road game in Ames.

U.T. runs the table from here out....10-2!!!! what bowl with this record do you think they'd get a shot at playing?

I would have thought that you a long time T.V. Personality would have better faith in your home town team. This question was asked of recently, what bowl game would the horns go to if they finished 10-2 and you answered the toilet bowl.Why did you answer it that way is it your way of backing up the hometown team or just a very sad attempt at humor at the teams and Fox's expense. I would be willing to bet you were saying nothing like this when they won the Championship but know that they need everybody to stand behind them and cheer and yell just as loud as you did in those years or are you just going to be the winning season fan. PLEASE RESPOND IF YOU CAN

just havin some fun with a friend who had blogged with me. Texas ranked 22nd in the BCS standings,how about the gallery furniture dot com bowl? Don't think Fiesta Bowl is in the mix this year

I respect you for answering,But I still say our team needs our help right now not us laughing at it or making jokes at what bowl game they go to. It's not if they make it to a bowl game it's did they do everything they could to get there and before you say anything please be sure you could have done better than everyone on that field including the coaching staff and if you answer yes to that question we expect to see you out on the field next year. Thank you for listening
