Take time to read the article on Fox News about this guy.  Naturally, he is protected by "Freedom of Speech", more to the point, does he deserve to be?  Why can't he just leave the United States?  Instead we now know that sometime, somewhere, he is going to go off and Americans will lose their lives.

Meet Samir Khan, a blogger who incites young Muslims to wage holy war against the U.S. — from the comfort of his parents' home in Charlotte, N.C. — Go face-to-face with Al Qaeda's PR man in America.

I read this article this morning, then again online. I tried to go to the website, yet it was offline.
This is not freedom of speech, regardless of what anyone says. Freedom of speech does not give anyone the right to promote the killing of anyone.
Imagine if this was a website promoting racism, calling for all African-Americans to be killed. How long would that site last?
This guy should go to the West Bank, or Iraq, to do his promotion. Oh, that's right, he can't because he is yet another gutless coward.
Good post, Debby.

Thanks, Delusion. I'm appalled that people can hide behind the freedoms given us and do something as heinous as this guy! God help anyone that ever tries to bring us down from within!

There are laws against that type of speech aren’t there? I mean you can’t say go kill someone can you? What if a person carried out the act this guy is suggesting isn’t the person who was spewing this kind of hate held accountable for being just as guilty as if he were to commit the act himself?

Freedom of speech only goes so far. When it becomes a 'threat' against others it is illegal. Verbal (or written) threats against another person(s) are NOT considered freedom of speech. Those statements are exactly that - threats. He's breaking the law - most importantly, he's violating the Bill of Rights as it protects other American citizens. He can either shut up or leave our country - period.

Also - consider Charles Manson. HE didn't actually COMMIT the crimes, but he instigated them. Guilty. This man is no different.

That’s what I thought Fox, so I’m sure the web spiders have his IPS,and are protecting Americans from this kind of terrorism aren’t they, and if not then why?

It frightening to think that someone can live in our beautiful country and spout that type of hatred toward us. He needs to be watched and watched very closely. Don't even talk to me about his rights! He has none as far as I'm concerned, he gave them up when he began his rants of trying to instigate terrorism from within.

Last I checked, conspiring to commit a capital crime IS a criminal offense - if not a Federal offense. I don't care if you're promoting murder in the name of chocolate cake; there's no excuse for promoting and instigating felony behavior. I say stand Junior up in front of our deployed troops while he spews his garbage. I'm sure they'd throw him a reception he'll never forget.

Relentless, you are well... relentless! And I love your answer! To your suggestion about the "reception", I say, "Hear Hear!" What this man is doing is now classified as a domestic threat (which, if I'm not mistaken, can be taken care of by the military). This is NO LONGER within the bounds of Freedom of Speech - it has gone beyond that and needs to be dealt with on a legal level.

Relentless, I love your idea. That guy needs to know that we Americans will only tolerate so much, and he has pushed way past that limit. Good to know that the news in Charlotte NC showed where he lives! I sure hope the troops, if they see that video, know that we are outraged.

My question is to the F.B.I.and the U.S.AG.,what makes this ok when it was ILLEGAL for the Klan and their leaders in the 80's&90's,when you put them in jail for doing the SAMETHING this clown is doing?

truetexan I don't understand why charges have not been thrown at him when it's common knowledge that this guy is promoting terror ,I thought we where fighting a war on terror. I want to hear the news when they report this guy has been arrested and up on charges.

You would think Homeland Security would be all over it. Seems to have dropped off the news now.

I'm not someone that would ever think she could make a difference. I do, however, feel a strong need to try. I'm grateful to live in the USA and never do I take our freedoms for granted. I'm proud to be an American and you should be too.
