It's TIM GUNN!

The Project Runway co-host was in town for UT fashion week and an appearance at Dillard's at Barton Creek Square Mall. For those of you who don't know, Tim not only co-hosts Project Runway, but he also hosts Tim Gunn's Guide to Style and is Liz Claiborne's Chief Creative Officer.

Before you even ask...

No, I did not ask "What happened to Andre?!"

He made an appearance on GOOD DAY AUSTIN(WATCH CLIP HERE! ) yesterday - and as he finished his segment, I asked to take this pic. He was super nice and even made sure our picture was good before he took off.

I've had one other Project Runway run in - which was totally unexpected. Season 1 winner Jay McCarroll sat at my table for a fashion even in the ATL. He is a BLAST! He had just seen a quilt exhibit at The High and was inspired...though I never actaully saw his nxt line so I'm not sure if that translated into any of his work. He told me about how much of your life you sign away when you win(Hello American Idol!) and that he thought the judges took his attitude into consideration when choosing seson two's winner. But I think he may be regretting his apathy towards Bravo and Project Runway now. On second thought...probably not. But does anybody know what he's up to these days?

For those interested in fashion week activities, UT graduating seniors will show off spring fashions tomorrow night at the Erwin Center. The FREE show is called UT Celebrate! Seniour Fashion Show 2008. The showcase starts at 8pm.

Other showcases include a free show at Second Street District's Estilo tonight. And, also on Friday, a show at Orchid Nightclub at 10pm which features ecelectic styles of summer 2008. Tickets for that show are $15 for ages 18-20 and $10 for ages 21 and up. I guess they figure your bar tab will make up for the rest. ;)
