RUNNING THE WHITEHOUSE SOUTHSIDE STYLE!

Chicago has produced all manner of distinctive leaders, celebrities, and rascals, ranging from liberal lawyer Clarence Darrow to gangster Al Capone, political boss Richard Daley, civil rights leader Jesse Jackson, Nation of Islam Minister Louis Farrakhan.

Now Barack Obama can be added to the list. And as Americans take the measure of the former community organizer on the South Side, few better insights are available into his character, views, and approach to politics than his two decades in Chicago than his friend Tony Rezko and William Ayers.  It's a city of bare-knuckled politics, one where corruption and fraud ran rampant. This was Obama's playground and school room.

Obama brings a rouges gallery of Shady Characters, Politics and Under table deals with the likes of Rahm Emanuel, a Congressman from the North Side who will be White House Chief of Staff; Valerie Jarrett, a City Hall veteran who will be a senior counselor in the White House; David Axelrod, a political consultant to Obama and other Chicago Democrats, expected to be named to a top White House jobs, Bill Daley a son of the late mayor and brother of the current mayor, who also could be asked to come along. Meanwhile, Chicago native John Podesta co-chairs Obama's transition team.

Obama has recently said, "He will spend as much as it takes to fix the economy, no matter how much it takes", even if it bankrupts us.

Why Does This Not Surprise Me.

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad on Thursday congratulated Barack Obama on his election win — the first time an Iranian leader has offered such wishes to a U.S. president-elect since the 1979 Islamic Revolution. Ahmadinejad, "Calling for forgiveness and remorse for the past U.S. government's deeds by the new government can bring about the great Iranian nation's forgiveness."

A FATAL VOTE FOR AMERICA

It is hard to understand the thinking that would vote to kill the American dream of providing a better life for yourself and family, as opposed to receiving handouts from the government, which will lead to stifling incentive and diminishing the middle class.

Where is the outrage toward the liberal media, that has failed to inform the electorate as to who Barack Obama really is? This will be a President that will have half the support of the American people and even less when he can't deliver on his promises. Jimmy Carter will have had a better record than Obama when all is said and done if he is elected.

Democrats Always Are Charitable With Tax Payers Money!

He wants you to be Patriotic and Pay more Taxes to help those with less. How about his record of Charity?

Senator Biden, the Democratic nominee for vice president, claimed $995 in charitable gifts in 2007 on the joint return with his wife. That figure is 0.3 percent of the couple’s claimed income of nearly $320,000. By comparison, Sen. John McCain the Republican Presidential nominee, in 2007 reported $405,409 in total income and contributed $105,467, or 26 percent of his total income, to charity.

It's going to be a long lean four years if the Democrats take over capitol hill. I gave more than four times Biden last year, but if Obama is elected I will have to cut back, due to the Tax burden.

The Obama campaign maintains the 95% tax cuts including the 40% that pay no income taxes, that these handouts from the income tax system are not really handouts, because they are offset when the recipients pay FICA taxes for Social Security and Medicare. But the Heritage Foundation reports that even after accounting for the employees' share of FICA taxes, 10 million additional filers would be paying zero federal taxes while receiving checks from the IRS. In Heritage's latest report on Obama's stealth welfare program, the think tank forecasts that for Obama's 10 million new net recipients of federal dollars, the average handout will be more than $2,000 each year. Those tempted to dismiss data from right-of-center Heritage might wish to check out the latest from the left-leaning Tax Policy Center, which has also forecast a massive increase in spending on Obama's "refundable tax credits." Calling these payments "tax cuts" is misleading in the extreme. "Spreading the wealth around" is more accurate. (KC)
