So I guess we can all sleep soundly now that the future of Bret Farve has been worked out.
Yes I think Farve is an excellent QB, but please all the hoopla and fawning over him like he's one of the greats? How many superbowls has he won? How many has he lost. He's over rated, had a great year last season but what about the season before that. He should not be mentioned in the same breath as a Bradshaw, Montana, even Aikman, these guys won multiple Super Bowls.

Anybody out there have any ideas on how to stop a dog from digging underneath a backyard to escape?
My pooch has discovered the tactic and I'm doing my best to avoid putting down concrete along my fence.

That's the result of a Swedish study. Just one more piece of ammunition when you break the news to your significant other that you're hitting the links on a Saturday morning.
Thank God for medical studies.

Attention all action junkies, thrill-seekers, BASE jumpers and anyone else who feeds off the thrill of putting your life in danger.
Go the Pamplona,Spain during the festival of San Fermin and run with the bulls. It's a long trip but I highly recommend it. The paramedics and medical services are the best in the world when it comes to goring injuries (they have lots of experience).

Recieved any styrange pocket calls lately. Pocket calls being when somebody bumps up against something and it somehow causes the cell phone in their pocket to dail a number. Seems like everyone has a story about getting one or sending one. But the mother of all pocket calls was a few days ago when that soldier in Afghanistan pocket called his family and they got to listen to the firefight he was in when he made the call.

You gotta just love Crystal Cotti's story this week when she caught the city red-handed violating it's water restriction ordinance on the 1st day. Not only was it a classic TV news "got cha" but the city and all the city council people ought to be ashamed. And then a city staffer calls our newsroom to make excuses like "it was misters we were using not sprinklers..so it doesn't count." Just classic...tell the rest of us how to live. Never heard of the goose and the gander.

Jerry Jones pulls the trigger on "Pacman" Jones. Let the debate begin. Another problem child comes to the Cowboys. T.O. seems to have worked things out...do you think "Pacman" can do the same...or is Jerry pushing his lick too far?

400 children taken out of the complex in Eldorado.
Right move? Handled better then Waco? Too long in coming? Do those kids have a chance at a "normal " life?
What's your take?

In honor of St. Patrick's Day I thought I'd offer up one of my favorite Irish toasts. It goes something like this:
May those who love me..love me.
May those who don't...have one leg longer than the other so I'll know them by their limp.
Got any good one's?

Right now it's about 10:35 on Primary night...a week ago all the talk was Obama Obama Obama...but in the last day or so... mumblings and whispers about Hillary..and how in the polls women were being under reported. So tonight she's won Ohio and it's tied or she's in a slight lead in Texas.
Looks like there's more politicking to be done.

Just amazing the depth of ego and self importance we have to endure from these congressmen and women who authorized and played a part in the hearings involving whether or not Roger Clemens took steroids. This is where political philosophy doesn't apply...this is an outrage to us all be you republican , democrat, independant....for those hearings to happen at the Capitol of the United States of America and too see how serious those lawmakers were makes me feel ashamed. This country faces far bigger and more pressing issues then baseball and for them to occupy their time with this is shameful.

The Feds are talking about giving the death penalty to several men they say played a part in 9/11. Is this the proper course of action? Is making this annoucement 6 years after the fact...a bit too late or does Justice have no time limit?
What do you think?
