After a stormy start to the weekend... much more tranquil weather was seen for Sunday. A cold front blew through early Sunday morning, bringing gusty north winds, lower humidity and cooler temps. Highs were near 80 at most locations, with humidity levels below 40 percent.
Cool high pressure will move away from Texas as soon as tonight. A gulf breeze Monday will usher in more humidity and clouds.
By midweek, another storm system will bring increasing rain chances Tuesday, and maybe some severe weather Tuesday night into Wednesday.
Rain chances should decrease late in the week as another cold front sweeps through. Highs will drop into the 70s Thursday and Friday. Highs in the 80s will be back for next weekend with rain-free skies.
