39 and Holding

Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid are without a doubt in my mind the two biggest terrorists in the United States.

We voting citizens, Democrats, Republicans, Libertarians and Independents, sent our members of the House of Representatives and the United States Senate to serve we citizens, and what have they done?

They have done nothing to substantially make the necessary changes in our disgraceful national debt, solutions to our stupid energy problems ( that most high schoolers could suggest corrective actions), and even though a consortium of leading Democrats and Republicans have offered a bill to drill for oil on available land, they have instead resorted to childish behavior such as turning off the lights and taking a paid vacation at tax payers expense in their efforts to kill this legislation.

Going back to my first paragraph, I repeat that they have done something that foreign terrorists have never been able to do and that is to grind  a primary source  of our government to a screeching halt, and worse yet making we tax payers foot the bill for their misdeeds.

These folk and their ilk should be, in my opinion, drummed out of their offices and possibly found criminally responsible of obstruction of their responsibilities as leaders of our legislative branch, with appropriate fines and or/ jail terms.

AmVet:
You're still operating under the delusion that politicians are responsive to the people who elect them..

For the past twenty or thirty years the politicians are only responsive to whoever puts the most money in their pockets.

Somebody said a long time ago, "The people get the government they deserve"..

We are the ones to blame, amvet. We the people continue to be deluded into voting the party line, not realizing (or remembering) both parties are to blame.
The Democrats are obviously at fault for the lack of any vote on energy, yet remember the 'rubber stamp' Congress of Mr. Bush's first term. They could have done something then, yet chose not to.
It's one thing when those in office try to do the right thing and fail. It's another altogether when those in office have no clue as to who they represent and what they are there for.

Delusion/Badman

You are wasting your time posting on Amvet's blog. He NEVER engages in debate. He just likes to hear himself type.

What is really amusing is his "independent voter" stance. This guy is a straight ticket Republican. If you notice, it is always the Deomocrats' fault...for everything. Sure, he mentinos the debt. But isn't that debt Bush's legacy.

The GOP had control of both the White House and Congress for 6 years. Where was the engergy policy then? Where was Amvet's cry for a stop to the wild spending.

Bottom line, this old coot is a racist (see his Obama posts) and dullard who's better days are long gone. Save your time and ignore him.
