Spurs will lose to the Suns because David Stern realizes that Tim Duncan is boring, Shaq is entertaining and gets ratings, and he will never let the Spurs win the title (except for those 4 measley times in the last 9 years) because their a small market team, nevermind that SA is now the 2nd largest city in Texas, now bigger than Dallas. As always, if you ask Spurs fans, the Spurs will lose because the NBA is out to get them, not because the team they play is flat out better.

Only the truth is that the Suns are not a better team, and will not win this series. Sorry, it ain't 2001 anymore, so don't expect shaq to be able to handle Timmy "I used to eat paint chips as a kid" Duncan.

Plus as a former and recovering Mavericks fan, i can tell you that I have never been more sure of anything than i am that Steve Nash will never win a title. Hell cliffy, i am willing to go double or nothing on a year's salary with you.

Nobody makes opposing guards look better than Stevie No D Nash. Anybody remember how people thought Mike Bibby was the best point guard in the league cuz he lit up Nash so bad in the playoffs. Look for Tony Parker to have about 30 points and 12 assists a night against the Suns.

Clif-While playing "NBA is rigged" card is always entertaining, your logic doesn't hold water. Sorry, but there is a reason the Spurs have a lot more chrome in their trophy case than those awful Mavericks. The Mavericks will be out after the NO series while the Spurs will play on. (But I doubt the Spurs will win it all this year. The West is too tough a guantlet.)

What IS it with Dallas fans living in Austin?

What is so alluring about Mark Cuban?
What is so alluring about Dallas, Texas?

If pressed jeans, flat landscape, big hair, and a culture of snobby excess is your idea of heaven, by all means please move their. We have enough traffic in Austin as it is.

Lastly, and sad to say, Dirk is the new "softy" of the NBA.

Brer, I grew up near Dallas and grew up watching the Mavs, so they are my team.

And thanks for the invite, but for now, I'm into peace, love, dope, tranvestite hobos running for political office, hypersensitivity, over-hyped lame live music scenes, "Austin's own" (insert celeb who has ever stepped foot in the city limits), and watching dems cry when they lose election after election, so I'll stay. Just remember though, Dallasites are people too.
