What are we going to do with the way this country is going. The reason that I am angry is that I went to get some gas and I see that 10 dollars gets me 2 1/2 gallons.  I go to the pharmacy to get a medication that I need to function and I find that my insurance company stopped paying for some of them.  I'm not behind on my payments. I'm payed up in full. What happened is that I reached a certain point in my payments where the insurance company stops paying for brand name medications. It took me one and a half months to reach this point. The only way they will start paying for the brand name is I have to pay in 1600 dollars on top of my monthly payments.  Is it only me or does this look like robbery.  The real problem is I need this medication to have a normal day.  On one of the meds It helps keep me alive.  OK,  I have to pay in 1600 dollars.  Guess what, I don't have it.  While I am looking for this extra money the meds that they will not pay for is running out. In a few weeks it will be gone.  I think that before I find this money my meds will run out.  The real problem with this is that there are millions of people around this country in the same spot.  This is Medicare's new plan to help this country move forward.  I feel that the only hope for the majority of the people in the country is that there is a new congress in Washington.  With the writing of letters to all of the senators and congressmen they might open their eyes, but I do not expect it.

There is a long list of government practices that are hurting the average person in this country.

One thing that I do want to say is that this country has helped me in many, many ways and I was born here.  Looking back over my life, I would not want to be anywhere else.  I can still love it and not want to leave like I heard in the 60's.  I believe that in the 60's there were a lot of positive changes that we went through and that it did change for the better.

Where are all the people today.  With this new election coming up something can happen of the better.

I'm 54, married, and have been living in Austin/Roundrock for about 10 years. I am a good wood and stone carver. I carve for fun. This is boring as hell isn't it. I don't know what I want to do with this blog, but I do want to talk about this country. I was told in the 60's that if I didn't love it leave it. I did love it and was against Nixon's way of running a country. To tell you the truth, I'm more worried about Bush's way. Lets see where this goes.
